Remarkable portrait of Mr. & Mrs. Lester A. Lewis in their carriage in front of their home in Brooklyn at 865 President Street.  On the steps are Miss Cliff Wood and H.H. Wood, believed to be actors and singers and W.S. Pendleton who is most likely Lavinia Eliza (Pendleton) Lewis’s brother.  The salutation on the front is inscribed to La Salle Clarke by L.A. Lewis.  Clark was Lewis’s cousin from Schuyler Lake.  Signed by L.A. Lewis on front.
