This Simplex 4901-9817 DC Fire Alarm electromechanical horn was originally manufactured by Faraday and introduced in the 1980s, being rebranded by Simplex prior to being discontinued in the late 1990s. The 9817 uses the new Faraday horn mechanism which utilizes a circuit board as seen in the pictures above, while still retaining the grill plate used on other horn models such as the more common 9838.

Measures approximately 4" x 4" x 2", and weighs 1lb. There are multiple units available, and the unit you receive will be of similar quality to the unit pictured in this listing. All units have been tested, cleaned, and will be shipped safely.
