This kit was put together because the OEM Crankshaft Position Sensor (as used in the Morgan 3 Wheeler 2012-2022) is hard to come by and even if you can find one is very expensive.  Over £250 in the UK last time I checked.

The kit uses a brand new after-market Harley compatible sensor along with a CNC machined spacer and extension cable to allow fitment on the Morgan 3 Wheeler X-Wedge.  Also provided are a longer mounting bolt, genuine Harley o-ring, some tie-wraps, split conduit & instructions.  Basically, everything needed to replace the stock sensor.

What are the symptoms of a faulty Crank Position Sensor?

It may start as an intermittent "misfire", then became difficult to start at times.  Then, when it completely fails, the engine will be impossible to start.  Sometimes the OEM sensor gets stuck in the crank case and can split and fall apart when you attempt to remove it.  The replacement sensor is tapered to prevent this.

Notes

• E130008 – This is the Morgan part number for the M3W CPS.  It has a 4ft (120cm) lead.
• 106-0734 – This is the S&S part number for the Big Dog X-Wedge CPS.  It has a 3ft (90cm) lead so cannot be used directly on the Morgan without a extension lead.
