This is an antique cast iron doorstop by Hubley, I believe.  It is the French Fruit Basket design #1252. It has a French-style basket with a dainty bow on it filled with fruit such as bananas, grapes, and apples.  It is in fair condition.  It is pretty rusty and most of the paint has worn off.  But...if you are the person that can see a diamond in the rough, this is the doorstop for you.  With the right touch, this antique beauty can be restored to its former glory.  Hand-painting it to be true to the original design is one option or painting it shabby white and distressing it by letting some of this fabulous age and rust show through would make this old-time doorstop a fabulous fixture in contemporary and modern farmhouse decor.  It will leave it up to you to decide what special treatment this awesome antique receives.  It weighs a whopping 8 lbs.  It stands 10" tall, 6" wide, and 3" deep.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this antique doorstop.
