Complete in four volumes.

Each volume contains a vignette title page, volume four also contains a frontispiece of Goldsmith's Monument in Westminster Abbey.

The works of Anglo-Irish novelist, playwright, dramatist, and poet, Oliver Goldsmith, who was noted for many of his works.

Volume one contains his poetical works, dramas, and The Vicar of Wakefield.

Volume two contains Enquiry into the Present State of Polite Learning, and The Citizen of The World.

Volume three contains The Bee, essays, unacknowledged essays, prefaces, introductions, etc.

Volume four contains biographies, reviews, Animated Nature, Cock Lane Ghost, Vida's Game of Chess, letters, and an index.

CONDITION

Bound in half green crushed morocco with green cloth boards. Externally, very smart with fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot to the endpapers. A small tear to the front endpaper of volume four. Bound by Maclehose, Glasgow.
