DAYCO ELA (ELASTIC) DRIVE BELTS

Also called “stretch” belts, Dayco’s ela (elastic) drive belts are flexible enough to deliver required elongation for proper installation and precise fitment over a fixed pulley system. They are specifically made for 2- to 4-point drives fitted with self-tensioning belts and they feature EPDM rib material and cushion rubber to ensure long-term superior performance. Since 1905, Dayco has developed top-tier replacement parts that keep cars moving, including belts, tensioners, pulleys and other timing products.

• Proprietary EPDM construction elongates over fixed pulley system and maintains accurate belt tension
• Specially crafted polyamide tensile member stretches to ensure proper installation
• With highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber enclosing tensile cord to deliver necessary flexibility and adhesion
• A specialized tool or a zip tie may be required for installation (check application)
• Developed specifically for 2- to 4-point drives that do not need tensioning
