Sculpture measuring 14.5 inches long by 8 inches top to bottom by 2 inches wide

Believed to be a depiction of famous people or philosophers depicting the "Trolley Problem"

Weight approx 6.5 lbs has embedded hangers on back. To me it looks like it was one material and perhaps a later addition of other material to the back to assist in hanging it. Unsure though.

Material appears to be a heavy cast plaster of some kind. Unsure of the production process.

I have researched this item with some people with more extensive art experience and was told :

"Philosophers on a trolley? Plaster cast in bentonite or silica flour for resolution. Academic whimsy, probably

 generated out of an Ivy League art department for a crusty old professor. Judging from the trolley age, circa 1930’s-‘50’s."

Most likely a one of a kind item. Would make an ideal gift for a Philosophy Professor.

Location Found - Middletown , CT (Close to Wesleyan University)

Seems to be approximately 70 years old .
