One of my favorite pieces hands down. Maybe it's the mystery, maybe it's the beautiful design, maybe it's the intricate beading and applied lace. Maybe it's all of it!! This sculpture depicts a young girl in a Victorian era dress and bonnet, complete with lace, beading around the rim of the dress, the girls neck, as well as on the bag/basket she is carrying. The bonnet is laced as well, and the girl has a bouquet of flowers as well as a flower bracelet. The flowers are fabric. This is signed "CC '86", so all I know is the date this was created, 1986. Unfortunately there is wear on the beads but only the beads, as the glue has weakened over time, leading some of the beads to droop. See pictures. The mystique of this piece intrigues me so, and the aesthetics are spot on. Worthy of any collection in my opinion. See item details for dimensions and feel free to inquire <3
