Wind 10-10" Wind Indicator
Windex is the standard wind indicator around the world. Windex have a light, balanced vane with large fin area and low-friction, SAPPHIRE jewel suspension. These features make the Windex respond quickly and accurately at wind speeds as low as 0.2 knots (0.1 metre/second).
The tacking tabs can be adjusted to the apparent wind direction for port and starboard tacking. The Windex vane and tacking tabs feature reflective markers under the vane making them highly visible at night.

For ocean racers and keel boats.The Windex 15 wind direction indicator is a precision instrument which can indicate a change in apparent wind angle of as little as 1 degree.
Windex consists of a moving vane and two fixed reference tabs, and the suspension consists of a sapphire bearing rotating on a stainless steel pin. The Windex responds quickly and accurately at wind speeds as low as 0.1 metre/second 0.2 knots.
Light reflecting material is fitted to both the front and rear end of the wind vane, plus both the two reference tabs for good visibility during night sailing.
