Published during the time of Cromwell between the reigns of Charles I and Charles II. Thought to be based largely on the original maps (and with all the errors) of Jocodus Hondius (his father in law) drawn in the reign of Elizabeth I.

English County maps come from Jansson publication "ATLAS NOVUS" initially produced in 1638 with the 4th volume of English County Maps in 1646.
