Vintage 1971 Gretsch Super Chet 7690 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar w/ Gig Bag

Hey now! You're looking at a really cool and pretty rare vintage guitar.
This is a 1971 Gretsch Super Chet 7690 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar.
It weighs 9 lbs 3 oz. 24.75" scale, 1.80" nut width.
Classic Gretsch, with very ornate details - just take a look at those fingerboard inlays.
Semi-hollow maple body, maple neck, and an ebony board.
This tone-wood combo gives you deep warm acoustic resonance, with just the right amount of high end mids for great balance.
Chords shimmer, and the notes are so articulate.
Grabbin' up all this natural resonance are a pair of "Blacktop" FilterTrons.
Classic signature sound that runs the gamut from brilliant rockabilly cleans to warm jazz to great tight crunch.
Just setup, the neck is straight and the frets are clean. It's in fair-good overall condition.
Lots and lots of vintage mojo here: marks/scratches, dings/dents, finish wear, and a good amount of body/fingerboard binding deteriorating.
This guitar has so many stories to tell, it's a true vintage player's grade guitar.
Please carefully look through all my photos for a better visual description.
It includes the padded gig bag shown in photos.
The serial shows that it was manufactured in Oct '71, but according to records the Super Chet was sold between '72-'80, making this one of the earliest examples - so cool!
Don't miss out on a piece of Gretsch history with this Super Chet 7690.
Thanks for looking!
