GORDON SETTER Solo Door Knocker in Bronze
Item: Wonderful Gordon Setter Solo Door Knocker, individually lost wax cast in Bronze. VERY RARE!
I have just started these, in response to LOTS of requests from my clients for Larger Door Knockers, so very few have EVER been made!
Low relief (bas-relief) full body dogs (or cats) hinged on a striker plate. Two oval head screws are provided to fit in the two holes in the backplate, which is about 4" high x 1 1/4" wide, and the dimensions of the animals vary with breed. These are substantial knockers, suitable for exterior or interior doors. Oval head screws included.

Any of these items are also available with a coppery brown patina, or with nickel plating. There is a small fee for adding a patina and an additional charge for nickel plating. Bright (shiny) nickel plating is less expensive than satin, and either take additional time as the pieces have to be sent out for plating. Please contact me for charges.
