Three cent, umber brown, Queen Victoria (shown in "widows weeds" at her order in memory of the passing of her husband Prince Albert in 1861) from the British American Bank Note Co. (Montreal) issue of 1887, engraved, no watermark, perf. 12.0x12.0. Printed on medium weight, crisp, off white wove paper with horizontal mesh. Approximately 60% of original gum disturbed by previous hinging, hinge remnants, adhesions. Sound, fault-free stamp.
