INTERESTING ILLUMINATED PERSIAN MANUSCRIPT:

What you see is an interesting Persian manuscript about Sufism. It represents a remnant of an old Persian Sufi manuscript which was destroyed during the last war. I was able to rescue only this chapter from the ruins of my family house. So, I am not sure about the title, the author, or the date. It looks like 200 years old (I am not sure).The first page is illuminated with Gold & Colors. The text is framed within Golden frames as well. The leaves are well preserved except for 3 small missing pieces from the first leaf, but not affecting the text. On the borders of frames, the leaves are thorn in small places due to heavy gold. This is a handwritten manuscript in Persian language and with fantastic Arabic calligraphy. . It is formed of 11 leaves and 22 pages. It measures 17.0 x 10.0 x 0.2 cm. You get exactly what you see in the scans.
