a lovely little Victorian change purse in an Aesthetic movement Japonisme style. Make of some kind of faux tortoiseshell with gold and silver inlay. The piece is a bit beat up, and doesn't close properly, as it has cracks at the hinges. The inlay is popping out a bit ad a few pieces are missing I believe.
