British 1st release library soundtrack CD 'Essential Comedy Sound Effects Vol. 1' (1991), part of the BBC Collection, featuring a collection of 82 assorted sound effects. Compiled by William Grierson.

Almost all these effects have been taken from the world famous BBC Sound Effects Library. They have in the past been extensively used to enhance such classic comedy shows as The Goons, Round The Horne, Fawlty Towers and Not the Nine O'Clock News.

Released in a standard jewel case.

DISC: EX. Looks superbly clean on visual inspection. No obvious scuffs, hairlines or marks. Played just pre-listing and plays through fine. Disc clamps firmly in teeth.
INSERT: VG+. Fine condition foldout booklet. No marks, rips, creases but two light nicks/dents on top edge from case tabs/dimples. Colours unfaded.
JEWEL CASE: VG. Some scuffing through normal handling but no cracks or splits. Standard CD case with original tray.
