This listing is for a Rare Antique RIDDLE Co Candle Sconce Wall Fixtures Art Deco Nouveau & PARTS. It was salvaged along with several other fixtures from the bell tower of a convent in Pittsburgh PA where they were stored. Their only provenance was that they were once used in the building and stored when it was updated. It comes with an extra piece & some components, as well as a rare original cardboard candle cover.

It is a lovely piece of reclaimed architectural salvage, with a strong art deco / art nouveau motif, decorated with flowers and leaves along with a geometric body style. I have only lightly cleaned the fixture, and have not rewired it. It is a simple wire job, and could use some of the old components.

It is a rare hard to find design, a fixture your fellow collectors are sure to eye with envy! Excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. Great for collectors, home restoration or improvement, display/ decor, gifting, and more.

It is in good condition, with no major damage. It is in remarkable condition, with no large chips or any cracks to the ceramic pieces or other metal components. Could be repainted back to original colors or left as is for a pleasing original patina. I have lightly cleaned it to get the dust & Pittsburgh grime off, no other wiring or cleaning has been attempted. The current ceramic sockets have the soldered in wire style, which could be re-used carefully, but have not been tested.
