LUXMAN PD131 Record player equipped with SME 3009 S2 Improved
It was released around 1975. This time we set up SME 3009 S2 Improved.
The stylish design that will not make you feel aged will catch your eye.
☆Condition
Each part has been polished/cleaned.
Depending on the level of scratches, the dust cover is polished with a special abrasive and the finish is polished to enhance transparency. Polished the platter and metal parts until they were as clean as possible to remove dirt and rust.
Dust cover/button part/platter/rubber mat
- The cover is transparent and clean with no noticeable damage.
・The button part is also in good condition with no cracks found.
・The platter is also shiny with only a small metal dullness remaining.
・The rubber mat has some signs of use on the fabric surface, but there is no deterioration or warping and it is soft.
Cabinet
・The cabinet is glossy overall and there are no major damages.
・All four insulators are functioning and the hinge will remain open without any damage.
Tonearm
There are some scratches on the pipe, but there are no noticeable scratches and it is shiny and beautiful.
It is in absolutely beautiful condition.
Considering its age, we consider it to be in very good condition.
☆Operation
Before this sale, we are conducting comprehensive maintenance.
We replaced consumable electronic parts (electrolytic capacitors, etc.) and made adjustments to each part. It is in a condition that you can use it with confidence.
Turntable
Works well and rotates smoothly and normally without any abnormal noises. I have confirmed that the rotation is stable using my stroboscope.
- Fine adjustment is possible with the rotation adjustment dial.
・It works in conjunction with the ON/OFF button, so there is no problem with the start/stop response.
・There is no problem with strobe lighting.
*This item is common for 50/60Hz.
Tonearm
Works well and outputs good sound from the left and right channels.
- Smooth descent with lifter lever. (Oil has been refilled)
・Anti-skating/stylus pressure adjustment is also good.
・The height of the tone arm can also be adjusted.
There are no problems with all of the above operations, and the product is in good working order.
