This model is a low cost, lightweight plastic unit!!   The only expensive parts are the GTLS lamps (on the dial and hands). They make around 95% of the cost of this clock. 

Do NOT purchase this item if you are expecting a solid, heavy clock.  Thank you.

This is a 4 year old, end of line, factory clearance item, the price of which has been significantly reduced. The tiny (glow-in the-dark) GTLS lamps (Betalights) have lost a little of their original brightness, but have a few years life left yet.

Each clock utilises sixteen beautifully manufactured Swiss trigalight® self-luminous micro-light sources to illuminate the dial-hour markers and all four hands, making the time clearly visible in darkness.

It's sweep movement eliminates the irritating ‘tick-tock’ of lesser clocks making it almost silent. (note: the sounds of the inner workings could occasionally be slightly amplified if the clock is put directly on the top surface of a table or bedside cabinet. We therefore suggest putting the timepiece on something soft, to aid noise reduction.)

A straightforward quartz movement provides reliability and accuracy at a great price. This clock will give peace of mind to those who need to be out and about on time, whatever the hour and wherever in the world they may be.

 The T-25 alarm clock is designed to enable the user to tell the time in the middle of the night, without turning on the light. To test the brightness of the tiny GTLS lamps, you should do the following:

1.Take the unit into a completely dark room

2. Wait 3-4 minutes until your eyes have fully adjusted to the darkness.

3. Look at the clock: you should now be able to clearly see all the individual lamps and tell the time.  If you cannot, let us know.

4. To open the battery compartment without damaging it, please follow the instructions enclosed in the box.

5.Inserting the battery: insert the (positive +) end of the battery first and then push home the  (negative -)  end.   If the clock does not automatically start, remove battery and repeat the process. 

Note: we fully test the clock and check the brightness before dispatch, to make sure that everything is as it should be.
