Description
Romantic floorlength late 1940s / early 1950s vintage wedding dress is made of a lightweight ivory rayon taffeta fabric accented with sheer scalloped lace. The gown features long sleeves with pointed cuffs, a scalloped sheer lace neckline, tailored bodice with a nipped and a sweeping, full circle cut skirt with a floorlength hem & small lace appliques. The dress has a rear looped button closure (there are also looped buttton closures on the sleeves). The gown is unlined and suprisingly lightweight.
MEASUREMENTS: No labels ... bust measures 35 inches (and therefore fits a size 32 bust or smaller size 34 bust best), the waist measures 28 inches and the hips are free. The dress is 60 inches in length and the sleeves - to the point - are 27 inches long. The shoulders - from seam to seam - measure 15.5 inches. Please remember to leave room for you and that there is no stretch in the fabric.
CONDITION: Very slight wear ... the gown has been in storage for decades and has slight surface dirt - no stains, no rips, clean underarms - easily worn as is but would benefit from a proper drycleaning ... overall, excellent condition.
SHIPPING: USA - Free Shipping. INTERNATIONAL / anywhere outside of the USA $24.00.

The BRUCE WEIR(DO) note ... often, I buy lots of the same item (particularly lingerie items). After I sell one, I will often list another .... the Bruce point is that the second item is NOT the first item you purchased. There is more than one.
