Professor Jeff Cooper, happily married with three children and on tenure track, is concerned he may be in love with a student, and his eldest son, a senior at Harvard, comes home with a lovely young actress who proves to be his mistress. Jean Kerr is the best selling author of "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" (1957), a collection of humorist essays, and playwright of "King of Hearts" (1954) and "Mary, Mary" (1961).
