IMPORTANT INFORMATION. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION.

Each order comes with 20 seeds. This tree is located in Senoia, Georgia, USA.

This wild persimmon tree is located on a property that was an old growth forest before we cleared the land to build our house in 2006. We cleared around the tree to save it. The parent tree is currently over 12 feet tall.

This is my third year selling its seeds. Last year's batch had a 90+ percent germination rate. Most germinated in early spring. Some took until late summer to come up.

The fruit are not as large as their cousin, Japanese Persimmon. They are great for old-school jellies or jams, deer hunting areas, or as an ornamental tree for the house.

READ: Persimmon Seeds need to be WINTERIZED. There are numerous ways to do this, but the best results for myself have been to plant them in fall or early winter in seed starters with good soil. I leave the trays outside all winter with a light screen over them so that the squirrels and birds can't get to them. Keep them watered like any other seeds you are trying to start. The first of spring, I remove the screen, and they will start to come up. It has worked great for me each year. More information or other techniques for doing this can be found on the UGA Agriculture website.

The seeds come with free shipping. They will be shipped out to your location via a stamped envelope. For larger orders, they will ship via USPS Ground Advantange. Please note that if you live far from the east coast of the United States, it could take up to a week or longer for you to receive them via the stamped envelope.

Thank you!
