This set includes two different Military Payment Certificates from the United States, one for 25 cents and one for 50 cents. They are part of series 481 and are in very fine to extremely fine condition. These MPCs were used as a form of currency by the US military and are a unique piece of history. The design and markings on the notes depict various military scenes and symbols. They would make an excellent addition to any collection of paper money or coins.
