Antiques, Orthodox Russian icon-Triptych 17th C.

Russian Icon-Triptych of Kiev-Pecherskaya Mother of God with New Testament Trinity on top, Annunciation - on both top sides, 12 apostles, bottom left St.

George and bottom right - St. Dmitry.

Triptych - the middle of the 17th century, Vologda. Egg tempera, gesso on wood panel, in silver basma and wooden kiot. Leather and metal clasps, on the triptych's exterior, are from the same period.
