The episode titled "Profit and Loss"

on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine opens with a Cardassian Hideki Class starship that has been badly damaged

and is towed in to DS9 at Captain Sisko's command. Aboard the ailing starship is Natima Lang, a seeming simple teacher. We later learn that she is part of

the Cardassian underground and Quark's former lover. The Cardassian Hideki Class is similar in size to the Runabout but has much more weaponry and striking power. It accomodates 30 plus the flight crew and

capable of warp 9.5. The ship is named after

Hideki Yukawa who was a Japanese theoretical physicist known for his theory of mesons, which explained the interaction between protons and neutrons, and was a major influence on research into elementary particles.

The Cardassian Hideki Class is part of the Starships Collection of Star Trek starships that were produced

by the now defunct company, Eaglemoss.

This incredible collection includes the most significant ships from the television series and movies.

Imported from the U.K. with limited distribution

the United States. These Star Trek starships

are not easy to find for sale outside of the U.K.

This die-cast model is based on the CG version of the

ship that was created for Star Trek TV and the movies.

This starship model is die-cast, hand-painted,

and comes with a 16 page in-depth magazine featuring

product artwork and highlighting the

starship's history and design!
