First edition of the curious collection La Zucca (The Pumpkin), which Doni says he was inspired by Domenichi's Facetie: "A mishmash of all sorts of things, sentences, Proverbs, bon mots, histories, fables, moral portrayals, jokes, allegories and satires, which are strangely mixed together"

Title with a small tear in the edge, sometimes more, sometimes less finger-stained, the end page is wide in the lower margin, initially with a narrow watermark. The portrait woodcut with a small pen drawing in the lower margin. Interior mirror with mounted label "Crivellari Angelo, libraio Vicenza".
