Released in spring 1977, with John Cale back on the road and reveling in the controversy created by the chicken-beheading incident, Guts was a solid reminder of the three albums he cut for Island earlier in the decade and which predicted the power and promise of punk with a passion that not one of the movement's other putative godfathers had ever truly communicated.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very lights cratches that cause some light crackles and is in VG+ condition. Cover has some ring wear and small tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
