Description:
- The single port or dual port USB LIN interface device USB-8506 is a Local Interconnect Network (for LIN) for developing applications with for N-XNET drivers. The USB-8506T is powered by USB without external power supply. The USB-8506 is particularly suitable for applications that need to record or operate hundreds of LIN frames and signals, such as on-board data recording, bus monitoring, automatic control, etc. The DMA engine driven by the for N-XNET device enables the onboard processor to transmit CAN frames and signals between the interface and the user program without interrupting the CPU, thereby minimizing message latency and allowing the host processor time to perform other tasks. The USB-8506 has a three pin COMB I CON synchronization connector, which is used to trigger the internal hardware time base for synchronization of other devices.
