DESCRIPTION

First edition of The Letters of Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barrett Barrett 1845-1846 in the original publisher's cloth binding. 

Complete in two volumes. 

The first impression of this work with no later impression stated. 

Volume I and II have two monochrome plates each including facsimile's and portraits. Collated, complete.

Prior owner's book plates to the first pastedowns.


CONDITION

In the original publisher's cloth bindings. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. There are some light marks to the boards. Prior owner's book plates to the first pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot and light age toning.
