Star Trek the animated series, premiered on TV in September 1973, and continued until August 1975. This series included 22 episodes produced by the prestigious Filmation Studios and featured the voice talents of William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and the rest of the original cast. The show was supervised by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry who retained creative control over the animated series. The show also included the writing talents from the original live action series; including former story editor D.C. Fontana who penned the first episode. The show went on to win an Emmy Award in 1975 for "Best Children's Series."
Up for sale is a limited edition cel from the TV Animated series of Star Trek. The cel is limited to only 50 pieces and is AP 23/50. Piece comes matted and ready to frame with seal certifying authenticity and COA from Choice Fine Art.
