I'm listing this gorgeous piece as rayon, most chenille's are but it's still questionable.There is a shine to the black fabric it has been woven on, is why I say Rayon.It is thicker than your average velvet upholstery fabric.I suspect it will wear very little and be a joy for at least a decade.
