Demitasse Coffee Set Greek Medusa Design six piece of cups and matching saucers in original box.  Box has a mark on the top but otherwise in excellent shape.  Never been used.  Taken out of the box for pictures only.  No crazing, cracking or breaks in the cups and saucers.  Beautiful gold work on the Medusa face. Interesting winged handles.  The use of the Medusa head is significant in that the image is a well-known and powerful symbol of Greek mythology representing feminine power, beauty and wisdom.  The Medusa head and wings are also used by Vesace in his china.  This set can not be authenticated as Versace, but uses the Medusa design and wings. Nice quality.  If you like the symbol of the Medusa, you will love using this item.
