Antique brass & glass candlestick lustres

This pair of brass and glass candle lustres are believed to date from the post regency era approx 1830,s and have a bronzed effect colour to them.

They are sized as photos show and have a campana inspired sconce set above a band of vine leaves, each having a set of eight faceted droplets.

three of the droplets having slightly larger glass crowns as I have tried to show in the photos with some of the droplet connecting wires distorted where they have been removed / refitted for cleaning no doubt many times over the years.

The domed shape vine leaf section is made up of several leaves, one of which has become detached from the leaf next to it, not really visible but only fair to mention. I have tried to show this with the highlighted photos

The top of the sconce has a removable sleeve, allowing different candle diameters to be used. The two green unused candles in the photos are included.

There are a few areas to the bases where they have lost there circular shape slightly but nothing major and in keeping with there age

The underside of each lustre has a heavy cast weight mounted to them to keep them upright and sturdy

These would look lovely once polished, I tried with a bit of brasso with little effect so may need something a bit stronger!
