 This Listing is for One Pair of Lever Arm Petrol Taps - One with an internal fuel tube (inside the filter) making it the main tap and one without a fuel tube making this the reserve tap - They have a 1/4" BSP (also called GAS) thread at both ends and come complete with two copper sealing washers - Please read on.

These are Top Quality MADE IN ENGLAND petrol taps featuring a tapered brass fuel seal with ethanol resistant o ring unlike some other makes which look very similar but have a noticably different filter, a smoother plated finish and a parallel fuel seal rotating inside a full rubber insert. This rubber insert has been known to turn in service and partially block off the fuel flow. If this happens it can cause your engine to run lean. This is not good for your engine as I'm sure you'll agree.

BSP/Gas threads are measured using the bore of the pipe so 1/4" BSP relates to 1/4" bore pipe and so on therefore the thread, because it is on the outside diameter of the pipe and allowing for the wall thickness, is bigger than you might expect
