The only difference between Bully Dog’s Stage 1 and Stage 2 CAT Turbos is the exhaust housing. The stage 1 housing is a 1.32 AR and the stage 2 is a 1.45 AR. The larger housing on the stage 2 allows the same volume of air but it will be slower. It will run just as well as the stage 1 but with lower boost. If you have a higher horsepower rig, the larger housing of the Stage 2 will help you prevent over-spinning the turbo.

Note 1 For 3406A: If the rig has an air to air intercooler, 86200 intake elbow is needed. If the rig has air to water aftercooler, no intake elbow is needed.

Note 2 For 3406A: May require turbo adapter sleeve. Sold separately. (Momentum Works turbo adapter sleeve for Caterpillar 3406A Aftercooled engines).

Note 3 For 3406A: If you have an OEM turbo brace located on your exhaust manifold, it may need to be removed or modified.
