An adjustable hand reamer can cover small size ranges.

They are generally referenced by a last which equates to a size range.

The disposable blade slides along a tapered groove.

Tightening and loosening the retaining nuts on each end varies the size that can be cut.

Adjustable hand reamers are designed with enough adjustment to ream almost any odd-sized hole. 

The blades are made of carbon steel for long life and can be adjusted by loosening one nut while tightening the other.

They are mainly used for field repair work.
