Made July every year after finished fruiting - took advantage of heatwave

Sun dried every July

For anyone who loves green tea

And would like to try my home mage organic raspberry leaf tea

Also known as bramble tea

Makes a fruity tea that is delightful as a cool summer refresher infusion or as a tonic for sore throats etc

Vegetarian/ vegan

No pesticides used either on any of our items

Loose crumbled dry leaf tea

Large crumble pieces but could be broken further crushed in post

I will send you one sachet full as shown in photos as example - too light to weigh

You will need a strainer

I collected the best leaves, and sun dried them in the hot summer sunshine and will make new fresh batches every summer autumn now.

It is a shame to throw away and I’m happy to do my bit to recycle.

I have crumbled the leaves as take up less space, but I do have dry whole leaves - if you prefer whole leaves or other variations please see other listings.

This listing is for roughly crumbled dry loose rasberry leaves

May include the thorny spine vein which is part of leaf so please use spoon to take out of packet - all adds flavour and everything softens when brewed so I have just given them a gentle crumble whole leaf vein and part of stem leaf attached to.

I will put a handful which is the equivalent of approx 10 leaves and better value.

Please see sample packet for size so you can estimate how much in it.

It is too light to weigh so I will put portions as sachet coin bag size.

So you can try

They are loose crushed ( no tea bags! )

Leaves are from our London uk garden,

home grown

Our raspberries have been growing since the 80s are around 40 years old.

Organic And pesticide free as we have a lot of other fruit and veg and we never use chemicals.

natural dry crumbled leaves.

They may get pressed flat when posted in the envelope which may appear less but as I will put you the specified amount - it is merely for flavour and for you to try.

I would suggest brewing about half a teaspoon in a teapot to start so you know whether to add more next time for a stronger flavour but I find half a spoon is enough.

You will be able to make at least 20 pots of tea so good value.

We are an animal free and smoke free home

Every year We have plenty of leaves which we throw away which is a waste and a shame so if anyone would like to buy any I am happy to post.

we have 2 varieties of which all leaves will eventually drop by October - if you want to make your own next year the fresh leaves are available from April to beg of October. Please see my other listings.

Aromatic full of nice aroma

Dry and ready for you to use.

Made in July and depending when you buy you may get summer leaves or autumn leaves . Age is better so the older it is the more aroma too.

sun dried

From clean healthy leaves as shown in photos

I have taken photos of fresh when growing with raspberries, dry whole raspberry leaves before crumbled and crushed and in sachet so you see stages.

Tea is very nice and I highly recommend this for detoxing or drinking as a fruit tree tea.

I used half a leaf and made 3 tea pots in one day Ie 9 cups.

The leaves can be reused several times or frozen to be used in cooking at another time.

Very simple to brew, just pour boiling water into pot and allow to brew for 3-7 minutes depending on strength you would like.

You may also add the dry leaf in cooking such as curry , stews, rice, vegetables soups or fish as it gives a nice flavour too.

I have researched the benefit of raspberry leaf tea for you and I have found the following info:

Raspberry leaf tea is used for:

Sore throats

Mouth ulcers

Sore Gums

They may crumble further in post and leave a powder element.or if you prefer finer powder consistency you may blend further.

I will put in an envelope to save on postage but they may get squashed and flattened in post - if you are happy to buy from me on this basis then I am happy to send.

If you would like more please message me.

I also sell hazelnut, walnut and fig leaf tea or you can buy fresh when in season only available May to October If you prefer to buy fresh leaves and make your own

Also please note that I am not doctor, scientist or certified nutritionist so I do not claim that these leaves have any health benefits, however various studies have shown that they have many. Also as far as I know these leaves are in optimum condition, however in the unlikely event that the leaves cause some kind of negative health effect or allergic reaction (not that I am aware of this ever happening), the purchaser and consumer assume all risk.

Sorry I only post in the UK.
