Offered is a selection consisting of one authentic Udolpho Wolfe's Aromatic Schiedam Schnapps bottle, dating between 1860 and 1870.The bottle is Hand Blown In Mold manufacture style(BIM),with applied cork top finish. The lot includes:
1)—An 8 1/4” tall, 2 3/8" square, classic schnapps bottle, , tight smaller applied wedge top, dug in New Orleans, in a nice rich moss green color , strong embossment strike. It has ground wear, scratching on the edges of a couple panels, a 1/2" bruise on inside edge of lip. The CH" in "Aromatic Schnapps" are connected with a glass bridge, never seen this before, and the round indented bottom is noticably offcenter. I think a good cleaning would remove the superficial blemishes and make this one shine.
