Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has bumping to the spine ends, and some ageing to the page edges. The dust jacket shows general shelf wear, and a small closed tear to the top of the spine hinge. Overall a very good copy for a book of this age. (See pictures). 

The author wrote 'Eye of the Needle', the award-winning novel which became an international bestseller and a distinguished firm. 'The Pillars of the Earth' became his best-selling work upon publication.
