Antique 18/19th C. Royal Vienna Pair of Porcelain Plates Reticulated with Flowers

  • For your consideration is a pair of authentic early Royal Vienna porcelain plates
  • Beautiful wide reticulated borders
  • Expertly hand painted with a large, vibrantly colored pink rose in the center and five little pink flower sprays around
  • Very exquisite work altogether
  • Mounted on old, hand made metal brackets for hanging on the wall
  • They were produced in Austria by the Imperial and Royal Porcelain Manufactory circa the turn of the 19th century
  • Both have the cobalt blue under glaze Bindenschild, aka beehive / shield mark, used between 1790 and 1810, which could be seen under the metal brackets, but unfortunately we cannot take photos of these without removing the brackets. They fit perfectly and we don't want to damage the plates
  • There also some incised markings, 118, 0, 31 on one plate, something like G and hand writhen 111 on the other
  • Scarce to find, gorgeous and ready for display

  • Measurements: Approx. 9.75" diameter x 1.75"
  • Weighs about 2 lb. the pair

  • Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. No issues to be noted, just minor wear, consistent with age. All original.
