Our Item#: 107357
Original program (all pages are pictured) from Flugplatz (Aerodrome) Johannisthal in Berlin, Germany's answer to Kitty Hawk. With illustatrations, date, times, etc. A treasure-trove of information for pioneer aviation enthusiasts -- especially German, but flyers came from all over the world to show their machines and skill. For example, the Wright Brothers had a small factory there and many of the flyers used Wright airplanes -- even though when the forward chain broke many died in the abrupt, straight down nose-dive into the earth. We have several different of these all from the same estate of a decades-old collection.
