Tip : sow before winter so they naturally stratify and this helps seeds germinate the following spring.
As seeds available all year and if you buy out of the window you may put in fridge
For 3-4 months to stratify too.
Any that don’t germinate can be put back in fridge again and they will germinate on 2nd round so you get all to grow.
These were our grapes that we grew this summer in our London garden.
We have started cutting the bunches today 9/10 to make our wine and have plenty of seeds left over for anyone who would like to buy as it’s a shame to throw them away.
Photos are mine this is another black variety - I have quite a few
Please see photo
We don’t need all of them and it’s a shame to throw away
They are all organic and pesticide free
We do not use any chemicals as we eat leaves when making dolmades/Greek stuffed vine leaves.
So if anyone would like to grow their own grapes from seed and who has patience I will be happy to sell some as too many for us. So hope to share.
