This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Heinkel He219 Uhu, which made its impressive debut in June 1943, shooting down 5 Lancaster heavy bombers of the Royal Air Force at once and was considered the best night fighter of the Luftwaffe.
The model reproduces the final production version, the A-7, equipped with the DB603G engine for improved high-altitude performance.
The model features an aerodynamically refined narrow fuselage, a cockpit with a wide field of view, sturdy front landing gear, and a compressed air ejection seat, all of which are innovative and functional.
The inside of the cockpit has also been precisely reproduced. Metal die-cast parts are used for the floor to maintain balance and enhance the realistic feel of the cockpit.
Includes 2 crew dolls and 3 types of markings.
