It Was Acquired Many Years Ago, By Our Family, Through an Estate in RI...We Found This Amazing Chime/Bell in the Late 1990s. The Estate Was Owned by a Couple Who Graduated From RI School of Design. They Had This Piece For Many Years and Enjoyed It While it Was Hung On Their Porch. We No Longer Have a Place For it at Our Home and We Felt Led to Sell it Here and Pass it to the Next Home to Admire.

This is a Rare and Special Find. We Have Done Our Best to Research The Marks Found On the Top of the Bell...We Could Not Distinguish What the Initials HKBW? Might Mean.

The Sound it  Makes When the Striker Hits the Bell is Quiet Beautiful...It is a Maritime Like Sound...And in Fact, There is a Raised Shell Design on One Side of This Piece. All Parts are Fully Functional and Move Freely. There is an Embossed Heart Design on the Triangular Like Tab at the Bottom of the Striker.
