Paris Covered Sauce Tureen

Fine Paris three-piece covered sauce tureen lavishly handpainted with gilt floral bouquets on a white ground by Pillivuyt, France. The oval tureen rests on four curved feet and also has an ornately scrolled finial and handles. The tray is beautifully scalloped and is decorated with the same design as the tureen.

Tureen: 6 1/2" high to finial; 8" long (handle to handle); 5" wide (at the furthest points)

Undertray: 9 7/8" long; 6 7/8" wide

Marked France on the bottom c1913-1936.

Excellent preowned condition. There are two small scuff marks to the interior rim of the tureen.
