This true vintage 1950s lace wedding gown is a stunning piece that exudes elegance and sophistication. The dress features a classic New Look silhouette, with a fitted waist and a full skirt that falls almost to the floor. The off-white lace material is adorned with pearls and rhinestones at the neckline, adding a touch of glamour to the timeless design. I believe this dress to be a 3/4 length dress, with the hem just above the ankle....so beautiful worn with pumps!  The dress has a maximum waist measurement of 26 inches. This dress is a small size (0-4) and would fit someone with a chest size of 33 inches (with some extra room in the cup area) and shoulders measuring 14 inches. The waist to hem length is 38 inches, and the entire dress measures 52 inches from shoulder to hem. This original vintage piece is perfect for a bride who wants to add a touch of vintage charm to her special day.  This dress has been previously worn and loved, but is in excellent vintage condition.  This dress was too small to zip up on my mannequin, and also features a crinoline layer.  There is a slight colouring under the arms on the inside (see photo) but with trip to the cleaners, this dress would be ready to go....almost mint condition!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at The Tartan Princess.  Painting not included in the auction.
