Description: Hardwood
covers such as this one were used to cover sacred Tibetan texts. This is an excellent
example, and was deaccessioned from a Northern California estate. The inside
pictures three tantric Deities. The outside cover, the second shown, shows two
glided dorje symbols along with a gilded wheel of life.
