Good condition with expected wear; we are a smoke free home - I did not detect odors on this item upon purchasing it. I did detect some evidence of pet hair of some small amount on the item. This item should be hand washed in cold water with a product such as woolite, and laid flat on a surface to block-dry. I have had success with such items by placing them on a cloth bedsheet used for the purpose, directly onto a large flat surface outdoors. The integrity of the knitting is pretty good with one small rosette having been disconnected from the black yard - a job that can be quickly rectified by hand. Sold as found.
