You are looking at a pair of Arrowsmith sterling silver candlesticks/candle holders with cranberry glass globes/hurricane shades. The cranberry glass shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The hurricane shades screw into sterling silver candlesticks. The candlesticks have dents around the base. I have polished the silver, and it is tarnish-free.
The collar on each glass globe is sterling silver. The bottom of each collar is marked, "Arrowsmith sterling." Each hurricane shade is 7 1/2" from the tip of the silver screw end to the top edge of the shade. The top edge of each hurricane has a 3 7/8" diameter. The cranberry glass has been cut to clear with a floral design.
The sterling candlesticks are 4 1/2" high with a 3 3/4" diameter on the base. The bottom of each candlestick is marked, "sterling Arrowsmith weighted." Together the pair of candlesticks with the shades weighs about 2 1/2 lbs. When the hurricane shade is screwed into the candlestick, each candlestick with the shade is 11" high.
