- Round jasperware / stoneware plaque with white relief portrait of Apollo, the Greco-Roman god of dance, music and poetry, healing and prophesy
- He is displayed on brown background
- His symbol, a lyre is also present
- White acanthus leaf border outlines the roundel
- Scratched text at the back "Dip / 953 K / Body 920 K"
- Possibly experimental work or a prototype
- Circa 1800's, England
- Provenance: an important English pottery medallions collector
